This Privacy Policy explains how The App for That (“the App”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the iOS application and related backend services.

1. Who we are

The App is operated by Neutrino Networks / Stone Currier. For privacy questions, contact assistant-stone@inkboxmail.com.

2. Information we collect

• Sign in with Apple identifiers. When you sign in, Apple provides an identity token. We verify it and store a stable Apple user identifier (sub) so we can create and recognize your account.
• Session credentials. After sign-in, we issue a session token stored on your device (Keychain) and used to authenticate API requests.
• Messages and Home content you create. Chat messages and Builder/Home customizations you send are processed to provide the App’s features. Message content is sent to our relay and may be forwarded to our AI provider to generate responses.
• Usage / metering data. We store token-usage counters and related account metadata so we can enforce weekly usage caps and show usage in Settings.
• Device permissions you grant. The App may request permission for local notifications. We do not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or App Tracking Transparency for core features.

3. How we use information

• Authenticate you with Sign in with Apple and keep you signed in.
• Provide Chat, Builder, Home, and Settings features.
• Enforce usage limits and operate, secure, and improve the service.
• Comply with law and Apple App Store requirements (including in-app account deletion).

4. AI and service providers

Chat/Builder requests are processed through our Cloudflare Worker relay (atlas-relay.stone-app.workers.dev). The relay calls Anthropic’s Claude API server-side. Your Anthropic API key is never collected in the App. Content you submit may be processed by Anthropic under their terms and privacy policy to generate responses.

Infrastructure is hosted on Cloudflare (including D1 storage for account/usage records).

5. Data storage and retention

Account and usage records are stored in our backend database. On-device data may include session tokens and lightweight local preferences/memory used by the App.

When you use Delete Account & Data in Settings, we delete your backend account row and associated usage records and sign you out locally. Some residual logs or backups may persist for a limited time for security and operations, then are removed in the ordinary course.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to run the App (e.g., Apple for Sign in with Apple, Cloudflare for hosting, Anthropic for AI inference), or when required by law.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures appropriate to our size and the data we handle, including HTTPS and signed session tokens. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Your choices

• Sign out / disconnect in Settings.
• Delete Account & Data in Settings.
• Control notification permission in iOS Settings.
• Contact us at assistant-stone@inkboxmail.com for privacy requests.

10. International users

The App is intended to function consistently across regions, subject to third-party AI provider availability and local law.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the updated effective date on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
